empowering women to discover their voice

It's that time of year again...do you make resolutions ? are you able to keep them ? a simple way to start..If you decide you want to lose weigh, start SLOW... change the way you do things start by eating something for breakfast ( apple, orange, whole grain toast or even just a shake) munch on almonds, raisins, celery, and carrots until lunchtime..It doesn't matter if you eat lunch..and drink lemon water. Have a cup of green tea with a piece of cheese in the mid afternoon...always start dinner with a i/2 cup of soup or glass of ice water..take time at least three days a week to walk or ride in the park,or what ever you enjoy and do it . Yoga and working out relieves stress which many times is what keeps us from losing weight.

So basically if you start off slow, it won't be such a shock to your system and eventually will become part of your daily routine and you will loose weight thus feeling better about yourself.

Anyone else have any resolutions and how they deal with them ?

Great post! I make resolutions each year and then I break resolutions each year, but I have been known to stick with a serious cleanse now and then, so I know I can do it. It's time for a change. I finally have closure on my past three marriages (it's been nine years since my last divorce), and am happily married to husband number four. My emotional health has taken a big step forward. Now it's time for my physical health to follow suit.http://myfirstthreehusbands.com

My resolution this year is to be more creative. Not just think about or read about creative, but to actually do something creative. Another blogger inspired me to put a time limit on being creative--I want to be creative 30 minutes a day!
