Financial Literacy for Kids a Necessity

I found this article that talks about how students should have a financial class to prepare them for the future. I strongly agree with this article. When I was in high-school they was just starting to separate the students into academies. These academies was separated by the field the student was interested in after they got out of school. For example there was a business academy, arts academy, and so on. I believe that they should take it one step further and add classed that will help with life as an adult and a financial class would be a great place to start. As this article states it would not only help better prepare our children it could also help keep the economy from going down like it is now. This could promise our children and grandchildren a better future and start a platform to better the U.S economy. I'm sure we could take out a class that is not necessary or classes like history and gym or such down to one semester. Read this article and let me know your opinion and if you think there should be another class that should be mandatory tell me what class and why you think it should be a mandatory class.
