It has been a tradition for over 30 years for myself and my daughters to help out at the Holiday's at a women/children shelter. We help serve food and help provide presents for the children..this year my youngest grandchildren were old enough to help, at the Thanksgiving Dinner and are looking forward to doing Christmas also..Another tradition the children and I have done is, during the year we gather materials for making Holiday decorations. We make one for each mailbox on our street ( 8 properties ) we use foliage( pine branches, vines,etc.) from our property. Both the neighbors and the GC look forward to our crafting decorations each year.
